Dear Mr. Wayland, I’m writing to you in hopes to add my voice to the positive voices I favor of the railroad. I’m an owner of oil rigs in the area and a member of the Duchesne county school board. I’m an advocate for bringing as much opportunity to the Uintah Basin as is possible. We here have endured 6-7 years of low oil prices and in turn many businesses have faltered and have been forced to close their doors. One of those people was my younger brother who had to close his doors due to some very difficult times Having a railroad here would open our small market to not only the wasatch front but also to the gulf coast.
